Organizations routinely change. I change the routine.
Kelly Ceynowa (Sin-oh-wuh)
I coach executives (and their teams) to lead through desired (and undesired) change. My work lives at the intersection of learning and leadership development. I create experiences for leaders to experiment, tap into their expertise, and stretch. I am often asked to coach people at the dinner and conference table.
Endlessly curious about how people interact with organizational change, I inspire leaders to realize how a strategy’s success is correlated to the way people are treated and brought into a culture. I am motivated to go beyond the data to reveal how people are actually getting the job done.
My experience stretches across sectors and industries. I have built and led new hire programs for cloud companies, designed leadership development programs at Bank of America Merrill Lynch, selected top talent for CNN, and facilitated learning for veteran and emerging leaders at McKinsey, Delta, Deloitte, Citi, The New York Times, Stuart Weitzman, American Express, Conde' Nast, Etsy, General Assembly, New York Life, A&E Networks, (and more).
Compelled to better understand how change affects people at work, I earned an MA in Social-Organizational Psychology from Columbia University. The experience serves as a constant reminder that transformation is possible and necessary throughout one’s career.
I jump at the chance to explore. Although I was raised in the land of 10,000 lakes, earned a BA in International Relations and Political Science at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, lived the study abroad dream in Sevilla, Spain, and completed a year of national, volunteer service for AmeriCorps VISTA in Denver, Colorado, New York brought me home.

It all starts with a conversation…
Dedicated thought partner. Devoted sounding board. Co-creator. Spit-baller. Brain-stormer.
Kelly is a coach. A consultant. An advice-giver, and a solution-finder. She works closely with her clients to enact meaningful change. Whether that is a change in a career, a change in a position, a change in responsibility, a change in culture, or a change in the environment, Kelly helps ease the resistance.
And while Kelly has led people through change for decades, a “one size fits all” solution does not work when it comes to humans. As much as we want “scalable” or “repeatable,” when it comes to people, what we really need is “tailored.” Kelly knows the best practices, she knows the psychology, she is steeped in the theories, she has extensive experience…and what that expertise tells us is that we need to be able to adapt our solutions to meet the unique needs of the moment. And that’s just what she does.
